Hello, I’m Kia Berry Hagens, Esq., founder of Hagens Consulting LLC.

My professional background spans education, educational administration, labor relations, and law. While these fields define my day-to-day career, my true passion lies in helping people achieve financial success and long-term stability through practical, informed decision-making.

For more than a decade, I have navigated my own financial journey, gaining firsthand experience with the challenges many individuals face—especially when it comes to student loan debt. Over the past five years, I have dedicated my time and expertise to helping thousands of borrowers successfully navigate the student loan forgiveness process, empowering them to gain freedom from debt they once believed they would carry for a lifetime.

Through extensive volunteer work focused on loan forgiveness advocacy and guidance, I have helped secure over eleven million dollars in student loan debt forgiveness. This work has reinforced my belief that access to clear information, strategic planning, and consistent support can truly change lives.

In addition to student loan forgiveness, Hagens Consulting provides retirement consulting and contract review services. We help clients plan for retirement with clarity and confidence by first completing the necessary retirement paperwork.  Specializing in the Office of Retirement Services (ORS) paperwork Hagens Consulting can address the many questions that arise as you are navigating your next chapter of life. 

Finally, our contract review services offer clients an added layer of protection and understanding—helping them evaluate employment and service agreements, identify potential risks, and make informed decisions before signing.
